A great way to introduce your kids to the wonders of the water is to take them on an eco-boat tour! There are a couple of places that offer them in the Daytona Beach area. Grab some sunscreen and a camera and get the kids outside learning more about the environment around them.
The Marine Discover Center offers an eco-boat tour of the Indian River Lagoon. Get a chance to see dolphins, sea stars, live sea shells, and learn about the habitats. The narrated tour is two hours long.

You can also find a great eco-boat tour at Cracker Creek Canoeing, located in Port Orange. The guided pontoon boat tour takes you on a tour of the Cypress Creek. Get a chance to see turtles, fish and more!

We have done the Marine Discovery Center Tour a couple of times. It was great. My kids do their camp every summer. They have great programs!

Roxanne,
I agree - love the place! They have a great Sea Squirts program there for preschoolers as well. Thanks for posting the link to this site on your blog. I tried to leave a comment, but didn't have a log in to do it. I have added a link to yours on this site.
