On May 19, 2012 there will be a family event held at Timbercrest Elementary School, located at 2401 Eustace Ave. in Deltona. The event is open to the public.
The event is called "Health and Fun in the Summer Sun" and will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It's a family friendly event that will feature summer programs, health and safety vendors, a kids zone with all kinds of fun things to do, such as make a bank, sandy candy art, balloon animals, tattoos for kids, bounce houses, make and stuff a stuffed animal, and more. There will also be a Scholastic book fair in the media center, free fingerprinting, and a blood mobile (donate blood).
