Daytona Lagoon and area YMCA locations will participate in the World's Largst Swim Lesson event, which will take place on June 14, 2012. The event is part of a national event, aimed at getting the word out about the importance of teaching children how to swim, and helping to prevent drowning.
The swim event will be held at 11:00 at particpating area YMCA locations, including at the Port Orange YMCA, Ormond Beach YMCA, DeLand YMCA, and the Four Townes Family YMCA. This is a free event. For more information, call 386-760-9622.
