As families prepare their kids for the school year, the Daytona Beach Sam’s Club is adding healthy habits to the back-to-school list -- thought this, once again, might be of interest to your mom readers!
The club is offering FREE children’s screening tests – vision, BMI, and DNA and fingerprint kits that help protect kids in the event they are ever lost. The club will also distribute Sesame Street’s “Healthy Teeth, Healthy Me” outreach kits, which empower children to make healthy choices that will have a positive impact on their oral health.
The free event, available to both members and non-members, is this Saturday, August 11, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sam’s Club at 1175 Beville Rd. in Daytona Beach.
