Fall-Festival
Looking for fall festivals? Here's a list of fall festival around Daytona Beach, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach, Ormond Beach, South Daytona, and beyond. Be sure to check back as the list will be updated as we learn about more events!

 

Pumpkin Patch, Fall Festival, and More
The First Church of Port Orange will be holding a pumpkin patch from October 6, 2012 - October 31, 2012. They will have a variety of pumpkins to choose from. But they will also be holding events throughout the month, such as Marshmallow Roast Friday's and Bounce House Saturday's. They will also be holding their Fall Festival on October 13, 2012. Great Pumpkin Patch
There will be a pumpkin patch and festivities at the Church of the Nazarene, located at 840 Taylor Rd in Port Orange. Starting on October 7, 2012. There will be hay rides on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5-7 p.m.  

Deltona Lakes Elementary Fall Festival
There will be a fall festival held on October 18, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be a silent auction, food, games, bounce house, dunk tank, obstacle course, music, raffle prize, and more. Tickets for the games and entertainment are 4 for $1.00 in advance or 3 for $1.00 at the event. There will also be food for purchase. The school campus is located at 2022 Adelia Blvd. in Deltona. 

Halloween Storytime - Deltona Library
They will be holding a Halloween storytime on October 18, 2012 at 6:15 p.m. It will not be anything scary and all ages are welcome. They will also be doing a puppet show.

Haunted House - Orange City
The "Bad Luck Bayout" haunted house will be open from October 19-20, 26-27. Hours are 7-11 p.m. the first weekend, and 6-11 p.m. the second weekend. It will be located at the Orange City Sorosis Club, at 222 E. University Ave., in Orange City. The fee is $7 for adults, $5 for children 10 and under.  

Halloween Party (special populations)
There will be a Halloween party for those with special needs. The party will be held on October 19, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Nova Community Center, located at 440 N. Nova Road in Ormond Beach. There will be dinner, dancing, and a costume contest. The event costs $5 per person. You can find more info here

10th Annual Orchtoberfest, October 19 - 21, 2012. 9-4 pm Daily.
Orchid & Exotic Plant Fest at hosting 17,000 sq. ft. indoor greenhouses, with guest vendors from around the World. Children are invited to wear costumes and bring goodie bags to trick or treat. They will also have hay rides, a pumpkin patch, and more. You can get more info here.

Fall Festival
Port Orange Church of the Nazarene 840 Taylor Rd. is hosting our 6th year FREE fall festival this Saturday October 20, 2012 from 11-5. There will be hayrides, games, great prizes, obstacle course, inflatables and Spanos imports is bringing a car for the children to write on. Live Music all day and the delicious food is being served by DB Pickles, for a minimum price. Come join in a family day of fun and don't forget your camera.  

Zooloween
This event will take place on October 20, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. Visit the Sanford Zoo for a fright-filled evening with adult potions and concoctions, bizarre foods, zombie dancing, dead music by live bands, wicked costume contest, haunted laboratory, and ghost train. Halloween Festivities at Daytona International Speedway
They will be having some Halloween festivities, including a costume contest, at the Daytona International Speedyway, from October 22, 2012 through October 29, 2012. You can get more information here

East Volusia Homeschoolers - Halloween Party
East Volusia Homeschoolers invites Port Orange and Daytona Beach area Homeschoolers to their First Annual Homeschool Halloween Party Tuesday, October 23, 2012 10:30 AM McElroy Park S. Haunted House - Lake Helen
There will be a haunted house held from October 26-27, 2012 and October 30-31, 2012, across the street from Volusia Pines Elementary School in Lake Helen. It will be open from dusk until 11:00 p.m. The fee is $5 with a canned good donation.

Halloween Spooktacular - Deltona
They will be holding an event that features live music, performers, a food truck bazaar, games, haunted house, costume contest, and more. It will be held at the Dewey O Boster Sports Complex, located at 1200 Saxton Blvd. in Deltona, from 6-10 p.m. on October 26-27, 2012.

History Mystery Tales and Tours - New Smyrna Beach
On October 26, 2012 there will be a walking tour that features actors telling chilling tales. You will check in at the New Smyrna Beach Museum of History, which is located at 120 Sams Ave. in New Smyrna Beach. The time is from 6-9 p.m. The fee is $6. For more info call 386-423-9760. 

Boo Bash - Daytona Beach
Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Ocean Walk Shoppes in Daytona Beach - This festival is family and kid-in-particular friendly with trick-or-treating, children’s haunted house, mid-way games, craft area, inflatables, monster mash dance, interactive sponsor displays, and costume contests for infants through age 12. In the evening, Boo Bash focuses more on adults with DJs, dancing and adult costume contests. 

Halloween Story Time - Daytona Beach
The Barnes & Noble on International Speedyway Blvd. in Daytona Beach will be holding a halloween story time on October 27, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. They will be reading "The Monsters' Monster," followed by a workshop and children's activities. For more info call 386-238-1118. 

Mostly Green Halloween - DeLand
The Gillespie Museum of Minerals at Stetson University will be holding a free event that will take place on October 27, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Stop in for hands-on activities and experiments desmontrating mysterious and unusual animal behaviors and plant habits. Address is 234 E. Michigan Ave. in DeLand. For more info call 386-822-7330.

Halloween Block Party - Orange City
There will be a block party held in Orange City at the City Town Hall, which is at 205 E. Graves Ave. This is a free event that will be from 6-9 p.m., it will feature candy, music, costume contest, movie, a nd more. For more info call 386-775-5410. 

Fall Festival and Haunted Forest - Edgewater
On Saturday, October 27, 2012, there will be a fall festival and haunted forest in Edgewater. It is and will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There will be a trunk or treat in the YMCA parking lot, a children's costume contest, and more. Admission is one non-parishable food item per person. You can get more info here.

2nd Annual Ormond Beach Falloween Family Fun Festival
This event will be held on October 27, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Ormond Beach Elementary. The event will include a trunk or treat, pumpkin patch, face painting, carnival games, doughnut decorating, cake walk, and more. You can find more information here

Halloween Spooktactular - Daytona Flea and Farmers Market
They will be hosting a Halloween event on October 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a costume contest, scavenger hunt, and trick or treating. This is for children 12 and younger. There is also a free haunted house all month long. They are located at 2987 Bellevue Ave in Daytona Beach. 

Hayride and More
The Daytona Auto Mall is having a special Halloween celebration. On October 27, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. they will be having a Halloween hayride, moonwalk, pumpkin decorating, prizes for the best costume, cider, donuts, candy, and a free gift bag. 

Halloween Costume Skate Off - New Smyrna Beach
There will be a Halloween event held at the skate park, which will include a mini haunted house, skate gear raffle, and photo and video shoot of skaters who are in costumes. It will be held on October 27, 2012 from Noon to 5:00 p.m. For more info call 427-8417. 

Halloween Party & Costume Contest - Ponce Inlet
Racing's North Turn restaurant will be holding a Halloween party and costume contest on Saturday, October 27, 2012. Registration starts at 6:30 p.m. and the party starts at 7:00 p.m. There will be prizes, giveaways, live music, dancing, and food and drink specials. They are located at 4511 S. Atlantic Ave. in Ponce Inlet. For more info call 386-322-3258. 

Matinee Spooky Movie - "Monster House"
The Gateway Center for the Arts, located in DeBary, is holding a screening of the movie "Monster House." The movie will be started at 2:00 p.m. on October 28, 2012. The cost is $5 per person. There will be popcorn and treats. You can get more information here. The movie is rated PG and runs 91 minutes.

Halloween Carnival and Spooktacular - Embry Riddle
This event will be held at Embry Riddle and is open to the public. It will be held on October 28, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be carnival for children, crafts, face painting, games, and more. Bring a container for your child's goodies. You can find more info here

Green Halloween 2012 - cancelled
October 28, 2012 from noon to 6:00 p.m. There will be a fun-filled afternoon that is also eco-friendly. The event includes an Eek-O Costume contest for kids and dogs, treat or treasuring (they don't do tricks), and performances. There will be natural vendors there as well. It will be held at 868 George W. Engram Blvd. in Daytona Beach. You can find more info here.

Fall Festival - Ormond Beach
There will be a fall festival held on October 28, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It will include a bounce house, trunk or treat, carnival booths, pie eating contest, chili dinner, and more. This will be held at the Christ Presbyterian Church, located at 1035 W. Granada Blvd. in Ormond Beach. Entrance is free, there is a small charge for booth activities and there will be food for sale. Halloween Party - Port Orange Library
This Halloween party is held during their normal story time on October 31, 2012. It starts at 10 a.m. in the library's auditorium. It's a party for children ages birth through five years old. To attend, take a treat you can share with other kids (they will all be put out on the table). Your child can wear their costume and they will all do a little parade through the library in their costumes. It's a great party that I took my kids to several times when they were younger. Monsters on MainStreet
October 31 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Held in Downtown DeLand, children can go trick or treating for candy provided by local merchants. There will also be a dance party for kids. Free.

Trunk or Treat - Seabreeze United Church of Christ
There will be a trunk or treat for kids from 6-8 p.m on October 31, 2012. It will be held at this church, which is located at 501 N Wild Olive Ave in Daytona Beach. This event is free. There will be food, fun, and crafts. For more info, call (386) 252-6314. 

Halloween Parade and Costume Contest - New Smyrna Beach
This will be held at the Loop. Parade begins at 4:00 p.m. A costume contest follows the parade. Free event. You can get more info here

Trick or Treat Event - Palmer Chiropractic Clinic
The Palmer Clinic has scheduled a trick or treat event from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on October 31, 2012. They are located at 4705 S. Clyde Morris Blvd in Port Orange. This is a free public event. Children who are under the age of 12 must be with an adult. 

2012 Candy Buy-Back - Port Orange and Daytona Beach
Lloyd Dentistry is holding a candy buy-back program. Kids will get paid $1 per pound for candy the turn into the office. The candy is being collected for Operation Grattitude, which will go to the troops. Candy donations will be accepted October 31st, November 1st and November 5th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office is located at 139 Executive Circle, Suite 101, in Daytona Beach or at 5100 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Suite 200, in Port Orange (he has two offices). For more info call 386-253-3629. 

2012 Candy Buy-Back - Port Orange
Barnes and McDonnell Pediatric Dentistry, located in Port Orange, is having a candy buy-back from November 1, 2012 through November 9, 2012. They are open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and are located at 1440 Reed Canal Rd. in Port Orange. They will be buying the candy at $1 per pound.  

Fall Festival at Seventh Day Adventist Church - Daytona Beach
There will be a free fall festival held at the church, which is located at 401 N. Williamson Blvd. The event will be held on November 17, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. There will be a hayride, bonfire, inflatables, carnival games, and more. There will be baked goods ($2 suggested donation). All proceeds to go to the Indigo Christian Jr. Academy.
