Looking for some Halloween events around Volusia County? No problem! Here is a list of some events taking place in the area:

Visit the Corn Maze
This is a great activity and it's not too far away. Read the info here

There will be a pumpkin patch from October 5-31, 2013, Sun-Thurs 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 pm., and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. You can buy pumpkins for your holiday festivities. All proceeds support our Youth missions. This is held at the Coronado Community United Methodist Church, located at 201 S. Peninsula Ave., New Smyrna Beach, FL (Corner of S. October 5-31st  - Pumpkin Patch
There will be a pumpkin patch at the First United Methodist Church Port Orange, located at 305 Dunlawton Ave. The pumpkin patch is open Sunday through Friday from noon until 8:00 p.m., and Saturday's from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

October 11 - Annual Fall Festival Friday
Tomoka Elementary School will be hosting a fall festival Friday on October 11, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The festival will be held on school grounds, located at 999 Old Tomoka Road in Ormond Beach. The festival is open to the public and features numerous activities, including inflatable stations, a rock wall, carnival games, balloon art, face painting, hayrides, food vendors, live entertainment, a silent auction, and more. Tickets are $6 per person if purchased in advance, or $8 per person at the door, and include admission, entertainment and all activities. October 11 - Marshmallow Roast
There will be a free marshmallow roast from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church Port Orange, located at 305 Dunlawton Ave. They also have a pumpkin patch.

October 11 - Octoberfest
There will be an Octoberfest event held at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, located at 600 S. Nova Rd. in Ormond Beach. The festival’s activities will be open 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday, 6 to 11 p.m. Oct. 11, noon to 11 p.m. Oct. 12 and noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 13. More info here.

October 12 - Bonce House
There will be a free marshmallow roast from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church Port Orange, located at 305 Dunlawton Ave. They also have a pumpkin patch. 

October 12 - Fall Festival
The First United Methodist Church Port Orange, located at 305 Dunlawton in Port Orange, is having a fall festival. It will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be rides, games, laser tag, a bounce house, carnival foods, and more. There will be a petting zoo htere from noon until 3:00 p.m. 

October 12 - Octoberfest

October 18 - Fall Festival
There will be a fall festival at Deltona Lakes Elementary School, located at 2022 Adelia Boulevard in Deltona. The festival will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be food for purchase, fun, a bounce house, cake walk, raffle prizes, etc.

October 19 - Trunk or Treat
There is a Trunk or Treat at the Port Orange Church of the Nazarene. Find details here.

October 19 - Bounce House
There will be a free bounce house from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church Port Orange, located at 305 Dunlawton Ave. They also have a pumpkin patch.  

October 19 - Crafty Pumpkin Playdate
Grow and Sing Studios will be offering a "Crafty Pumpkin Playdate" from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. This will be held at New Life Church in Port Orange. The church is located at 5231 S. Nova Rd. The fee is $15 and includes all materials and a snack. For more information visit their site here


October 19 - Fall Festival
There will be a fall festival held on Saturday, October 19th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a train ride, giant slide, face paint, animal balloons, games, food, drinks, book fair, and more! All proceeds support their Day School Scholarship fund, which helps families in financial need pay for preschool tuition at our school. October 24 - Enchanted Forest
The annual enchanted forest will be held at Reed Canal Park in South Daytona. The event will be from October 24-26, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  

October 25 - Haunted Trail & Zombie Shoot
There will be a haunted trail and zombie shoot held at Daytona Beach Paintball, located in New Smyrna Beach. The event will be from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and is $8 per person ($2 for extra paintballs). They have a 20 minute trail. You can find more information here
October 24 - Enchanted Forest
The annual enchanted forest will be held at Reed Canal Park in South Daytona. The event will be from October 24-26, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  

October 25 - The Little Engine Academy Open "Haunted" House
This is an open haunted house that will be held at The Little Engine Academy, located at 499 S. Nova in Ormond Beach. The event will be held from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Stop in and tour at any time, no appointment needed. There will be lots of trains, scary houses, and circus tents. 

October 25 - Halloween Fall Festival
There will be a Halloween fall festival held at R.J. Longstreet Elementary, located at 2745 S. Peninsula Drive in Daytona Beach. The festival will begin at 5:00 p.m. The tickets are 5/$1 before the event and 4/$1 at the event. This is a family-friendly event that is open to the public. There will be prizes, candy, book bucks at each booth, a bounce house, hay ride, book buck store, cake walk, and more. Bring your trick-or-treat bag! Earn 5 free tickets when you donate a bag of individually wrapped candy. They are also asking for store-bought cake donations. 


October 25 - Enchanted Forest
The annual enchanted forest will be held at Reed Canal Park in South Daytona. The event will be from October 24-26, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

October 25- Deltona's Halloween Spooktacular
Starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Dewey Boster Sports Complex there will be a Halloween event. This night is for teens and adults only (Saturday is for younger children). This is a free event. There will be a Haunted Trail, Haunted Pirate Ship, and Hay Ride.

October 25-27 - Great Pumpkin Fest
There will be a pumpkin festival featuring costumes, goodies, pumpkins, and fun. There will be a trick-or-treat street, costume contest for all ages (including adults), entertainment, harvest foods, entertainment, arts and crafts, and more. Admission is $10. You can save $3 off admission by bringing a carved pumpkin. Takes place on City Island in Daytona Beach. Get more info here.

October 26 - Bounce House
There will be a free bounce house from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church Port Orange, located at 305 Dunlawton Ave. They also have a pumpkin patch. 

October 26- Deltona's Halloween Spooktacular
Starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Dewey Boster Sports Complex there will be a Halloween event. This night is for the whole famiy, including young children. This is a free event. There will be family fun and entertainment. In addition to the “haunted” venues, there will be Halloween games and prizes, inflatables, treats, a pie-eating contest and a frightening freaky food contest. There will also be a spooktacular Costume Contest. The contest (which will be by age category) begins at 6:30 p.m. with the youngest children going first. .

October 26 - Enchanted Forest

October 26 - Fall Festival
The Port Orange Church of the Nazarene will be having a fall festival from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They are located at 840 Taylor Rd. in Port Orange. 

October 26 - Haunted Trail & Zombie Shoot

October 26 - Boo Bash
There will be a free street party at Athens Theater, located at 124 N. Florida Ave. in DeLand. The street party will feature pumpkin carving art, kids activities, vendors, food trucks, contests, and more. The event is from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

October 26 - Halloween Haunted Hike
Gateway Center for the Arts, located in DeBary, is hosting a Halloween Haunted Hike. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., the hike begins at 7:15 p.m. For more information call 386-668-5553. 

October 26 - Ocean Walk Shoppes Boo Bash
There will be a Halloween event held at the Ocean Walk Shoppes from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. You can find the details here. 

October 26 - Edgewater Fall Festival
There will be a fall festival held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the YMCA parking lot. The event includes a haunted forest, trunk or treat, costume contest, and more. 

October 30 - Special Halloween Storytime
Held at the Deltona library at 10:30 a.m. all ages welcome. Come enjoy not-so-spooky stories and songs. *refreshments welcome

October 30 - Fall Festival
There will be a Fall Festival from 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The location is at Salty Kids Preschool, 221 Vining Court in Ormond Beach. There will be a petting zoo, inflatables, different stations for the children to visit, food, music and much more.  

October 30 - Monster Bash
To be held at the Deltona library. All ages welcome. Come enjoy spooky stories and songs. Wear a costume and participate in our library parade! Starts at 6:00 p.m.

October 31 - Storytelling
Stop by The Hub, located in New Smyrna Beach, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for Halloween storytelling. You can find more information about The Hub on Canal go here.

October 31 - Halloween Parade and Costume Contest
This will be held in New Smyrna Beach, at the corner of Orange and Canal Streets. It will proceed east on Canal Street to the Chamber of Commerce parking lot. Costume contest follows parade. Only homemade costumes will be in the judging. No pre-registration required. For more info, call 386-424-2175.

October 31 - Halloween Activities at The Jam Spot
The Jam Spot will be having a Halloween Costume Party on Thursday October 31 all day long (10am-5:30pm). Come dressed up in your Halloween Costume and have your picture taken in front of our fun festive backdrop. 5X7 photos will be available for purchase. We will have treats to fill everyone's Halloween bags. Throughout the week of Halloween, we will be offering Halloween craft make-n-takes!  Check out our facebook page for updates and information! 

October 31 - Halloween Ghost Story Hour
To be held at the Port Orange Library from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Before you head out to Trick-or-Treat, come to the library for an hour of spooky stories that will scare your dad and haunted tales that will give your mom chills! We will have candy, treats, and tips for a safe Halloween.
Remember to come in your costume and to bring your Trick-or-Treat bag and a flashlight!
Make this your first stop on your Halloween quest for candy! 

October 31 - Holly Hill Trunk or Treat
There will be a trunk or treat event taking place in Holly Hill at 5:30 p.m. It will be held at the Hollyland Park. For more info, call 386-238-9441.

October 31 - Monsters on MainStreet
Safe trick-or-treating from the Downtown DeLand merchants & a kids dance party. Event is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This is a free event that will take place in Downtown DeLand.
