The one thing that worked to ease a persistent cough

Recently, my son had the flu. And as everyone is aware, this year's flu season has been bad, very bad. He was sick in bed for 10 days, missed 8 days of school, and was not back to having strength and being himself until we hit the two week mark. It really took a toll on him! One of the symptoms he had was a persistent cough. It was the type of cough where he was literally coughing nonstop, every minute there was a cough. I had tried everything. I bought numerous products at the store, and nothing was helping to bring him some relief.

I posted on my Facebook page to ask friends if they had any suggestions I could try. I was at my wits end trying to help this child get some cough relief, but had run out of options. One of my friends piped up and said she had something that would surely help him. What she had was R.C. Essential Oil. I haven't been one to really use essential oils, so I didn't have a lot of faith in the product. Still, I was willing to give it a shot. She dropped it off at my house, I put two dabs of the oil on his neck, and within minutes the coughing had been cut in half. Within about half an hour it was practically gone. I could not believe it and if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I would have been skeptical with someone telling me this. He ended up going to sleep that night and sleeping right through until 4 am, without one cough! He started to cough at that time, so I got up and put two more drops on his neck. The coughs were gone the rest of the night. I was blown away.

Here I had been spending a lot of money trying various products from the pharmacy, when they didn't do a darn bit of good. Yet this little bottle of oil virtually took it away with just a couple of drops. For the next couple of days we would put a dab on here or there and all was well. He continued to get stronger, get more rest, and recover from that awful flu.

I will always have this essential oil in my house now, because I've seen just how amazing it is for helping someone who has a persistent cough to get some relief. Two thumbs up for R.C. Essential Oil!
