Throughout the year in Volusia County you can always hit the beach, after all, we have 47 miles of coastal beach along the Atlantic Ocean. Spending time at the beach is a great way to have fun, cool off, and relax. Summers are great for getting wet at the beach, but winters are great for taking walks and beach bike rides. Beyond the beach, there are plenty of things to do in the Daytona Beach area and around Volusia County. 

STEM day at Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach - July 29, 2017


Nicholas Serle, from Boy Scout Troop 403 in Ormond Beach, has created a STEM Day for his Eagle Scout project, hosted by the Museum of Arts and Sciences, this Saturday, July 29th. This special one-day event is a free exhibit with regular admission to MOAS, and will feature experiments and demonstrations about various STEM principles, including robotics, aviation, rocketry and many others. As an added bonus, youth Scouts in uniform will receive free admission to MOAS on July 29th. Come out to the Museum of Arts & Sciences on Saturday, July 29th, 2017 learn a little something and support an Eagle Scout project.

Musceum of Arts & Sciences is located at 352 N. Nova in Daytona Beach. Adult tickets are $12.95 each, children ages 6-17 are $6.95 each. Under 6 are free.
