What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, Developmental Therapy and Homeschool Classroom Design?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Developmental Therapy are two therapies that target areas of child development. Developmental Therapy addresses all five areas of developmental skills/domains: self help/ self care skills (Adaptive), social skills (Social Emotional), language skills (Communication), Motor skills (Gross and Fine Motor) and playing/thinking skills (Cognitive). ABA is the process of systematically applying interventions based upon the principles of learning theory to improve socially significant behaviors to a meaningful degree, and to demonstrate that the interventions employed are responsible for the improvement in behavior.

Developmental Therapy is implemented to increase skill deficits, teach new skills, and generalize skill acquisition. ABA methods are utilized to increase behaviors, teach new skills, to maintain behaviors, to generalize or transfer behavior or response from one situation to another, to reduce interfering behaviors, and to restrict or narrow conditions under which interfering behaviors occur. Both therapies we provide focus on the early intervention population and the natural environment. Homeschool classroom design supports the individualized goals of the therapy by strategically establishing a thriving learning environment in the home.

We offer ABA, Developmental and Homeschool services in the Volusia, Flagler, and Seminole Counties. We provide services in the home, school, community, or clinic setting.

We accept VPK, Gardiner Scholarship for all services, and Medicaid coverage for behavioral services only. If you would like to learn more about our services, please check out our website at
