Deltona EGGstravaganza for Easter - April 8, 2017

The City of Deltona's Parks & Recreation Department hosts an annual EGGstravaganza event with the largest egg hunt containing over 30,000 eggs. The event takes place annually the Saturday before Easter weekend (April 8, 2017) and begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. at the Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex, 1200 Saxon Blvd. (Parents: DON’T BE LATE.) Our Bunny starts the activities on time! EGGstravaganza is the fastest annual event conducted by the City.  The egg “hunting” typically lasts just over 10 minutes and the festivities and entertainment continue until noon keeping all the kids interested.
The egg hunting is for children ages 2 to 10.  “Hunters” will be divided into three age categories and should bring their own baskets for gathering eggs.  Eggs will be loaded with candy, small toys and some will be specially marked for prizes.  Mr. and Mrs. Bunny will be available for picture time after all the eggs have been found, so parents bring your cameras.
For information on the event, call (386) 878-8900.
