The Green Market at the Pavilion at Port Orange

This morning I finally stopped by The Green Market at the Pavilion at Port Orange. It was nice! One of my favorite farmers that I usually purchase from at the DeLand farmer's market was set up there (the barefoot farmer). He's a local farmer and always has such wonderful, fresh, and tasty foods. I picked up some kale, beets, and cucumbers. I also tried one of the spring rolls at another booth (it was vegan) and tasted really good! My kids ended up swindling me out of a bracelet and a coin purse.

The Green Market is a nice place to stroll on a Saturday morning. Especially if you want to grab some organics, or freshly made bagels, pastries, and a variety of other items. They even serve up free range egg omelets and have tables and entertainment. If you haven't checked it out, you should plan to do so sometime in May. The market is held each Saturday morning in Port Orange.

The Green Market at the Pavilion at Port Orange will be hosting the Port Orange YMCA Fit Kid program at 10 a.m. Michael's will also be offering the chance to make free crafts for Mother's Day.

Open House at La Petite ARTiste Children's Art Studio & Gallery

There will be an open house from 3-6 p.m. Your child can create a free piece of art and visit the gallery. THe studio is located at 209 Seabreeze Blvd. in Daytona Beach. Call 386-290-7960 for more info.

Art in the Park
April 30 - May 1
There will be an art in the park event at the Casements in Ormond Beach. The event is from 10-4 and will feature art, food and entertainment. You can learn more by calling 386-676-3241.
