This morning I finally stopped by The Green Market at the Pavilion at Port Orange. It was nice! One of my favorite farmers that I usually purchase from at the DeLand farmer's market was set up there (the barefoot farmer). He's a local farmer and always has such wonderful, fresh, and tasty foods. I picked up some kale, beets, and cucumbers. I also tried one of the spring rolls at another booth (it was vegan) and tasted really good! My kids ended up swindling me out of a bracelet and a coin purse.
The Green Market is a nice place to stroll on a Saturday morning. Especially if you want to grab some organics, or freshly made bagels, pastries, and a variety of other items. They even serve up free range egg omelets and have tables and entertainment. If you haven't checked it out, you should plan to do so sometime in May. The market is held each Saturday morning in Port Orange.
