Things to Do Today - Wednesday 6/29/11 - Around Volusia County

Here's a list of things that are going on in Volusia County today that you may be interested in:

10:00 a.m. - Free movie at the Pavilion at Port Orange (Hollywood Theater). The movie today is "How to Train Your Dragon." You can see the list of free movie events here.

10:00 a.m. - The Cinematique of Daytona is showing "Captain Z-RO." The $5 admission per person includes a free small popcorn and small soda. Admission is free for Cinematique members. You can find more info here.

10:00 - 12:00 - Depending on which library you go to, there are several storytime events taking place at Volusia County Libraries today. You can find the calendar that lists them all right here.

Various times - Volusia County Libraries are having quite a few events today. There is movies, drop in jamz, kids Wii, teen tie dye, India day, and teen games. Find all the different events here on their calendar. Library events are usually all free.

4:00 - 8:00 p.m. - Every Wednesday at this time it is "family nights" at the Daytona Lagoon. Admission is just $8.45 plus tax and it gives you admission to the whole park. See more info here.

Also, if you don't mind paying to see a movie, the theater has many kids movies playing right now. You could also sign up for Kids Bowl Free and take in a couple of games. So pick something to do and get out for a while today!
