1st-11th - Sign your child up for a camp at Smart Start Tutoring for only $50 for the week! Learn more here. Or get them registered today for next week's camp.
1st-11th– Try out your local YMCA for one week for free! You can print your free seven day membership here. Use it for the week to take the kids swimming, to the kids exercise classes, or even try a Zumba class for yourself! There are many great classes and workout opportunities.
2nd - Stop by Moes for kids eat free day! This is every Tuesday.
2nd - First Tuesday of every month is free admission day at the Museum of Arts & Science, located in Daytona Beach.
2nd - The National Night Event will be held in Port Orange and Ormond Beach. You can get more details here.
3rd-4th - LEGO "Build the Future" event will be held at Kennedy Space Center. Get more info here.
3rd - Go see the free movie at Hollywood Theater at the Pavilion at Port Orange. This week's movie is "Cats & Dogs Revenge of Kitty Galore 2D." The movie starts at 10:00 a.m.
3rd - Head to the farmers market at the Volusia County Fairgrounds. This farmers market is big, loaded with fresh produce, and has great low prices! Starts every Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m.
3rd - Every Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. it is "family nights" at the Daytona Lagoon. Admission is just $8.45 plus tax and it gives you admission to the whole park. See more info here.
3rd - Daytona Ice Arena is offering ice skating for just $6 (includes skates), from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
4th-5th - The Juno Mission to Jupiter at the Kennedy Space Center. There will be a launching, exhibits, LEGO building, and activities. Plus, the awesome Bill Nye "The Science Guy" will participate on the 4th. Get more info here.
5th - The Holly Hill YMCA is offering community swim time for $3 per person (kids 3 and under are free). It is from 3-7:30 p.m.
5th - Check out the Friday Family Fun Night at the Daytona Ice Arena. For $35 you get 4 admissions, 4 skate rentals, 4 slices of pizza, and 4 small sodas. Runs from 7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
5th - The SE Volusia YMCA in Edgewater is offering community swim time from 3-7. The fee is $3 per person, with children under 3 being free.
5th - Moves on the Halifax in Ormond Beach. They will be showing "Pirates of the Caribbean" and the time it starts is 8:30 p.m. Held at Rockeffeler Gardens Park. More info.
6th - The Ormond Beach YMCA is holding a kid's triathlon. For more infomation call 386-673-9622.
6th - Check out the New Smyrna Beach farmers market from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is held at 237 Canal Street.
6th - Visit the Green Market at the Pavilion at Port Orange. You can grab breakfast, fresh produce, and do some outdoor shopping. The market runs from 8:00 - noon.
6th - The Ormond Beach YMCA is offering community swim time from 1-5. It is $3 per person (children under 3 are free).
6th- The Port Orange YMCA is offering community swim time from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for $3 per person, with children 3 and under free.
6th - The SE Volusia YMCA in Edgewater is offering community swim time from 12-4. The fee is $3 per person, with children under 3 being free.

7th - The Ponce Inlet Light Station will be celebrating National Lighthouse Day. Family friendly activities will begin at 10:00 a.m. and go until 2:00 p.m. For more information and admission prices, visit the site here.
7th - The Ormond Beach YMCA is offering community swim time from 1-5. It is $3 per person (children under 3 are free).
Check the Volusia County Library calendar here. They are offering events almost daily, ranging from story times to chess, games, and more! This week you could also plan to take kids bowling for free, hit the farmers market, or check the daily Groupon to get local deals on restaurants, entertainment, and more! Also, Port Orange YMCA is holding registration for Youth T-Ball.
