Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld Hotel Review

Last week my family went on a mini-vacation and stayed at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld Hotel. We do not support or go to SeaWorld, but the hotel stayed at was free. I had gotten it in lieu of payment for some writing I had done for a client. Anyway, we booked the three nights and headed over, with some other things planned that we would do on our little trip.

The hotel was very nice and we ended up spending most of our time at it. We had a room that overlooked the courtyard. It was a spacious room and very clean and comfortable. I have no complaints at all about the room or hotel. They had a wonderful pool area, with a huge pool and two very large hot tubs. They also had a nice little water park behind the hotel. The water park is all included in the price of staying at the hotel.

Inside the water park at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld there is one section for the younger toddlers, which featured smaller slides and a shallow pool. There is also an area for bigger kids, that featured two water slides, as well as some water toys. The kids had so much fun in this water park! One day they spent five hours straight in there playing. We actually took our lunch there to eat as they played. They also had wonderful places around the pool and water park area for the parents to relax. I spent hours just kicking back, reading, chatting on the phone, and sipping drinks from Starbucks (the hotel has a Starbucks in it).

They even offer daily scheduled activities that the kids can get involved in, such as decorating their own cookie, or watching a movie at night out on their beautiful lawn.

As part of our free stay package we also got to have the breakfast buffet at Tradewinds each morning, which is a restaurant inside the hotel. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! And I say that as a vegetarian, primarily vegan, diner. It was filled with fresh fruits, oatmeal, and even even a juicer machine to make fresh juice on the spot, using your own combination of fruits and veggies. I had that juice each morning (along with my oatmeal and some potatoes) and it was fabulous!

Two thumbs up for the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld Hotel. This was a wonderful place to stay at. Great hotel, friendly staff, very clean, and nice amenities. The family had a great time!
