This morning we had a VCM painting event at The Hub on Canal in New Smyrna Beach. The class was lead by Heather Pastor, who owns One By One Designs. She offers a variety of art classes, including painting classes like the one we did this morning, as well as art classes for kids. You can visit her site here to see her latest schedule of classes being offered. Her classes are offered at The Hub, as well as at various other locations throughout the Volusia County. She also offers painting parties, special event painting parties, art birthday parties, private lessons, and more. 

I have told Heather before that I have zero artistic abilities when it comes to drawing or painting. But she has a great class where she takes you through the process of creating your masterpiece, and makes it seem easier. Heather is great at what she does and makes it a fun class. Not only was it relaxing, but we also had some laughs and it was overall just a great time. Plus, we all got to take home our masterpiece. Mine will be hung on my office wall.

Heather provides all of the supplies to do this type of class. She also offers guidance, but encourages you to feel free to express your own creativity. It's the perfect mix of instruction and creative self expression. Two thumbs up for this painting class. I had a great time and I loved meeting the other ladies that participated!
