Easter Egg Hunt and Celebration March 26, 2016
New Smyrna Beach’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will begin at noon, Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Old Fort Park, 210 Sams Ave., New Smyrna Beach.
The free hunt will be divided into four age groups: 2-3, 4-5, 6-9, 10-12. Children should bring a basket. Free hot dogs, drinks and activities also will be offered.
The lively egg hunt is the last of three Easter Celebration activities in the Canal Street Historic District. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny kicks off the day from 8-9:30 a.m. at venues along down Canal Street.
A 10 a.m., the Easter Bonnet Pet Parade begins near the intersection of Canal and Orange streets. The pet parade will continue east to a contest judging area at the intersection of Sams Avenue and Canal Street. Registration is not required. All pets are welcome and must be on a leash held by a human.
Events are free and are hosted by the City of New Smyrna Beach, the Canal Street Special Events Team, First Baptist Church of New Smyrna Beach and the New Smyrna Lodge No. 149 Free and Accepted Masons of Florida.
