On the first Saturday of each month, Home Depot offers a free kids workshop. The kids will make a project that they get to take home. Home Depot supplies all of the necessary tools and supplies. Lowe's offers a free Build and Grow workshop for kids. They offer one or two per month. They are free, all supplies are provided, and kids can take home their project. You do need to register in advance for them. There are Lowe's stores in Port Orange, Ormond Beach, Deltona, DeLand, Orange City, Sanford, and Palm Coast. Get the schedule and registration info here.
