The Daytona Beach Track Club is hosting the 41^st annual Firecracker Beach Run,Saturday, July 2, 2016. Race starting time is 7:00AM.   The race will take place on the beach and will run North from the Daytona Beach Bandshell for two miles, turn around and head back to the Bandshell.

 

All 4^th of July visitors, stock car fans, and local residents of all abilities, are invited to run, walk, or stroll the four miles of the beach course. Custom Firecracker race event t-shirts, finisher metals, goodie bags, refreshments and food will be provided for all participants. Overall winner and age group trophies will be awarded to the top finishers. Race goers are encouraged to wear 4^th of July attire, flags and hats.

 

Firecracker Beach Run participants are encouraged to register early to avoid race day crowds. Go to: DaytonaBeachTrackClub.org / Firecracker Registration  -to sign up. The cost is $35 dollars per person. Packet pick up will be at Spikes Athletic Footwear, 1237 Ridgewood Ave, Daytona Beach, on Friday, July 1, between 12 Noon and 6PM.   Day of Race registration begins at 5:30AM at the Daytona Beach Bandshell.
