Chowing down on calzones at Midici Daytona Beach #midicidaytona

My husband and I got to meet up with my friend and fellow blogger Bethany (from All Natural Savings) and check out the new menu items at Midici The Neapolitan Pizza Company. They are located at One Daytona. This was my fourth time dining at Midici. The first three times I ordered vegan food (they are very vegan friendly), but this time around I wanted to see how their non-vegan food was, so I set out to order vegetarian options. Low and behold, the first thing that caught my eye was vegan bruschetta!

I couldn't resist ordering that to give it a try. Wow, it was fantastic! I loved the vegan bruschetta. I could go there and order just that as my meal and I'd be super happy.  It's that good! I also had a side salad, which was really good, and I tried their new calzones. The calzones are huge. It's honestly something that I could share with someone (order one calzone and one salad and share it all). I ended up bringing half of it home that I will be eating for lunch today. At Midici you can order things right off the menu, or you can customize anything so that it's made just how you like it. I ordered a custom calzone with regular mozzarella, spinach, mushrooms, onion, and vegan sausage. It's served up with a side of their homemade authentic marinara. It was delicious!

Our friends order a variety of other foods, including the gluten free pizza and a calzone. Bethany reports that they have the best gluten free pizza she's had. Everything was excellent last night. We had wonderful customer service by Courtney, and the food was delicious! The restaurant also has a nice atmosphere, offering both indoor and outdoor seating.

If you are looking for a delicious calzone or bruschetta you will want to give Midici a try!
