New Smyrna Beach Mayor's Fitness Challenge 2019

Are you ready to get physical!? During the Parks & Recreation Coastal Community Resiliency session held in August, guest speaker Dr. Bonnie Sorensen said the mental and physical fitness of a city’s residents are JUST as important as the health of its roads and bridges. Now, you can help create a more resilient community, supercharge your New Year’s resolution, and possibly win $1,000 by participating in the 9th Annual Mayor’s Fitness Challenge starting on January 7, 2019!

Over 10 weeks, you’ll be assigned a fitness coach and take part in fun classes from Pilates to Zumba. The Challenge is limited to the first 180 participants and classes fill up early, so get that rear in gear and head on over to the Alonzo "Babe" James Community Center (201 North Myrtle Avenue) to register today!
