Deltona fireworks
Celebrate America’s Independence Day at the City of Deltona’s 15th Annual Fireworks Extravaganza. Our event will feature music, games, contests, bounce houses, food vendors and a dazzling fireworks display. The Fireworks Extravaganza begins at 6 p.m.on July 4, 2019 at the Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex, 1200 Saxon Blvd.
There’s tons of family fun at Extravaganza with kids games, coloring, face painting, a caricature artist, bounce houses, and vendors. Make sure to bring your appetite. Adults may enter our old-fashioned pie-eating contest (beginning around 7 p.m.) and children our watermelon-eating contest (beginning around 6:30 p.m.). Then2Now will perform traditional American favorites from 6-9 p.m. As the sun goes down, watch the sky over Deltona light up with the City’s spectacular fireworks show beginning at approximately 9:15 p.m.
So pack up your family, bring a chair or blanket to relax on as you enjoy the park, and be dazzled by a sky full of color. Parking is limited at the Sports Complex. Extra parking and a free shuttle bus service will be available at City Hall, 2345 Providence Blvd. The Shuttle will run from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m. and then from 9:45 to 10:45 p.m. with the last bus leaving the Sports Complex at 10:45 p.m. Parking is always free.
