Mary Maggio has been a featured teaching chef at The Casements for over 20 years as well as teaching cooking classes at Leu Gardens in Orlando, FL. Mary is a first generation Italian whose parents emigrated from farm lands outside of Rome, Italy. Mary was born in New York and moved to Ormond Beach in 1980. She brings her Italian heritage and professional talent with a focus on teaching tips, techniques, incorporating one ingredient foods, using local and seasonal fruits & vegetables. She entertains the class with personal stories of family visits to Italy, different cuisines, and the various regions of Italy.
Class will be held at The Casements at 25 Riverside Drive in Ormond Beach.
