Volusia County Moms celebrates 11 years!

Volusia County Moms turned 11 years old on November 8, 2020!

Since the first post was published, the site has grown tremendously. There are nearly 7,200 pages on the Volusia County Moms website today.

My son was only three when I started this site, my daughter was five. I've shared the story before about why I started this website. I knew there were things in this county for families to do, but I struggled to find them. I kept wishing someone would create a website where they could all be found. After a couple of years of tossing around the idea for the website (and waiting for someone else to take the leap,) I finally decided to do it myself. And I'm glad I did!

The site has grown in leaps and bounds, has a steady supply of traffic, has helped many people over the years, and continues to be the number one place in the county that parents go to for information on things to do in this county with their family. You can find so many things to do on this site, including hiking trails, paved biking trails, indoor activities, a springs guide, outdoor fun, camping spots, where to kayak, current events, school information, and so much more!

Another important thing to know about this site is that it's all local. Unlike some other sites, Volusia County Moms is not a franchise owned by a national company and run by someone local. This site is 100% local. I created this site and maintain it. When you support Volusia County Moms, you are supporting a local business. Thank you for your support over the years, both in terms of viewership, and to the advertisers who help make it possible for me to dedicate so much of my time to it.

Here's to more years ahead for Volusia County Moms!
