Daytona Lagoon Shows Gratitude for Teachers

with Free Waterpark Admission

Daytona Lagoon is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Day on Sunday, May 2, 2021 by offering free waterpark daily admission tickets, a $32.46 value, to teachers with proof of employment identification.

“We are thankful for our teachers now more than ever,” explains Tyler Currie, General Manager for Daytona Lagoon. “Teachers have been through so much this past year—they have had to adapt to the challenges of the pandemic while still providing a fun and safe learning environment for students. This event is our way of showing our gratitude for all of the sacrifices made by our teachers this past year.”

The waterpark will be open from 11am-6pm on Sunday. For the remainder of May, Daytona Lagoon will be open with full operations on the weekends and be open with limited operations on select weekdays for Pool Daze. Pool Daze is $16.99 per person and is a limited waterpark operation that includes access to Treasure Lagoon Wave Pool, Castaway Children’s Play Area and a different slide tower every hour.

Daytona Beach’s Premier Waterpark and Family Entertainment Center offers a variety of attractions for guests of all ages. The Waterpark includes multiple thrilling water slides, kid-friendly play areas for younger guests, a lazy river, a sun deck, lounge chairs and cabanas available to rent. While the waterpark is open seasonally, Daytona Lagoon’s Family Entertainment Center is open year-round, featuring indoor and outdoor attractions including go-karts, mini golf, a rope’s course, laser tag, arcade games and more.
