We hope to see you on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 10-noon in costume and ready to learn!
Spiders aren't as scary as many people think. They manage insect populations by creating webs or other traps. To get into the Halloween spirit, make your own spooky spiderweb with glue, string, and wax paper by clicking here. Also, check out our spider identification guide by clicking here.
Bring your young scientists to this month's Science Saturday, to learn more about the mysteries of the natural world with help from Plant Ecology students. Gillespie staff have designed several arts and crafts for the Rock, Paper, Scissors table. And visitors may check out our Underground World in guided tours!
This event is free to the public. Costumes are encouraged. Masks are required. Students under 16 must bring an adult. Make a reservation by contacting the museum at 386.822.7330 or email@example.com. Gillespie Museum is located on the Stetson University campus in DeLand at 234 E Michigan Ave.
