Birding is a great activity to do with the whole family. Join us to learn the basics of identifying birds. After learning the techniques, we will put them into practice on a hike in the preserve. You can even participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count happening this weekend. Participants should wear closed toed shoes, bring water, and be prepared to hike on unpaved sugar sand trails. Bring binoculars if you have them and load the Merlin Bird Identification app on your phone if you would like to use it. Recommended for families with children ages 7 and up.
