Origami workshop in DeLand


Join us for a pre-Valentine's Day origami workshop that shows your creativity some love. We'll be folding beautiful sheets of paper into various Valentine designs. We will also learn about the history of paper folding and uses of origami in science and medicine.
Instructor Maureen Miller-Calamo has extensive experience in teaching the art of origami including at the American Museum of Natural History, the New York Public Library, Origami USA Conventions, and the Pacific Coast Origami Convention.
