Volusia County Moms was started in 2009. Six years into the blog, Volusia County Moms added contributors. These columns are by local VCM readers, for VCM readers. They are a mix of people in community who will share a variety of information. The views shared by each contributor are theirs alone, and not necessarily shared by the Volusia County Moms blog.

Maria has a passion for cooking for others and has been doing so professionally for 10 years. She believes that food is a common denominator that brings people of all ages, races, and genders together for one goal.
